On September 11th to 13th, 2024, IPSA (International Association of Political Science) celebrated its 75th anniversary since it was established in 1949 with a conference on democracy and autocracy at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon, Portugal. The Political Observatory organized the panel (P-042): “Global Struggle for Democratic Values: From Heritage to Narratives and Institutions”.
