INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF POLITICAL PSYCHOLOGY
The International Congress of Political Psychology took place in Lisbon on February 2-3, 2017, at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, coordinated by CIDH – Cátedra Infante Dom Henrique for Atlantic Insular Studies and Globalization – University Aberta and CLEPUL – Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon.
The Congress aims to discuss and share studies on the theme of decision making and leadership of elites, bringing together contributions from diverse areas such as Political Sociology, Political Science and Public Administration, Law and Human Resource Management. The need to reflect on the various dimensions of the theme emerges from its relevance in people’s political and social lives.
The Political Observatory is present as an Associated Institution and with representatives in the Plenary Conference “Psychology of Voting” on February 2nd with the participation of Professor Cristina Montalvão Sarmento and in Laboratory III “Research in Political Studies” on February 3rd with the researchers Alexandra Martins, Cristiana Oliveira, Patrícia Tomás and Samuel Paiva Pires.
