On the 3rd and 4th of October, the II Colloquium: The Azores in Europe and the Atlantic took place, an event jointly organized by the Centre for Humanistic Studies of the University of the Azores and the Political Observatory. Sponsored by the Vice-Presidency of the Regional Government and by the Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD), this two-day event was opened to the public, having the objective of debating the question of the European and North-American elections, and their effects on transatlantic relations. The panel was entitled “European and North American elections: dynamics and impacts on transatlantic relations”.
