December 30th, 2023 – POLITIPÉDIA (Portuguese Political Encyclopaedia) became again available for consultation. Currently being loaded and updated.

September 30th, 2023 – The I Colloquium: The Azores of Europe and the Atlantic, an event was jointly organized by the Political Observatory and the Centre for Humanistic Studies of the University of the Azores (Uac).

June 30th to July 1st, 2022 – Conference – Visual Storytelling: From Mural to the Digital, with the participation of the Political Observatory.

May 17th, 18th and 20th, 2022 – 5th edition of the Spring Research School: “Facing The Global Turmoil. Updating Traditions, Puzzling The Future”, by the Political Observatory and Sam Nunn School of International Affairs (Georgia Tech, EUA).

The XXVI World Congress of Political Science, organized by IPSA – International Political Science Association, took place from July 10 to 15, 2021, and had as its theme New Nationalisms in an Open World.
