Em conjunto s\u00e3o um vasto grupo de investigadores, interessados e curiosos da \u00e1rea da ci\u00eancia pol\u00edtica, que visam contribuir para o desenvolvimento do estudo da pol\u00edtica e da an\u00e1lise pol\u00edtica nacional e internacional.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por iniciativa de Cristina Montalv\u00e3o Sarmento, vontade essa acompanhada por 70 estudantes de Ci\u00eancia Pol\u00edtica e Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Internacionais, foi criado em 2009 pelo Conselho Cient\u00edfico da FCSH \u2013 Universidade Nova de Lisboa e, desde logo, em 2010, foi autonomizado, constituindo-se como uma associa\u00e7\u00e3o de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica em estudos pol\u00edticos, sem fins lucrativos, ganhando autonomia e se afirmando na sociedade civil como um centro de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o de excel\u00eancia.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Independente de estruturas pol\u00edtico-partid\u00e1rias, do poder pol\u00edtico e dos \u00f3rg\u00e3os de soberania, o Observat\u00f3rio Pol\u00edtico tem-se empenhado no desenvolvimento sustentado de uma plataforma de estudo, an\u00e1lise e investiga\u00e7\u00e3o dedicada \u00e0 pol\u00edtica, apostando na coopera\u00e7\u00e3o alargada com a sociedade e a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o social, para al\u00e9m dos servi\u00e7os de ci\u00eancia e tecnologia.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Do conjunto das suas atividades, na g\u00e9nese do\u00a0Observat\u00f3rio Pol\u00edtico destaca-se a cria\u00e7\u00e3o, registo e edi\u00e7\u00e3o da revista cient\u00edfica de reflex\u00e3o e debate, a <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.observatoriopolitico.pt\/revista\/apresentacao\">RPCP \u2013 Revista Portuguesa de Ci\u00eancia Pol\u00edtica<\/a>.<\/b>\u00a0Agora, j\u00e1 com 10 n\u00fameros publicados e outros dois em prepara\u00e7\u00e3o no curso de 2019, com periodicidade semestral, a RPCP cumpre as normas de referencia\u00e7\u00e3o do Cat\u00e1logo Latindex \u2013 Sistema de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional de Revistas Cientificas, do European Reference Index for the Humanities (ERIH) da European Science Foundation (ESF) e Qualis (B4) \u2013 Sistema de classifica\u00e7\u00e3o de peri\u00f3dicos da CAPES, do Minist\u00e9rio da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o do Brasil.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A atividade de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o do Observat\u00f3rio Pol\u00edtico permitiu tamb\u00e9m a atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o e renova\u00e7\u00e3o do conhecido <em>ResPublica, <\/em>um sistema generalizado sobre redes informativas em mat\u00e9rias de ci\u00eancia pol\u00edtica, da autoria cient\u00edfica do Prof. Doutor Jos\u00e9 Adelino Maltez, doado ao Observat\u00f3rio Pol\u00edtico, em outubro de 2011, que a renovou como <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politipedia.pt\/\"><strong>POLITIP\u00c9DIA \u2013 Repert\u00f3rio Portugu\u00eas de Ci\u00eancia Pol\u00edtica<\/strong><\/a><i>. <\/i><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta base de dados constitui o mais exaustivo acervo de informa\u00e7\u00e3o compilado, abrangendo cerca de oito mil entradas na \u00e1rea da Ci\u00eancia Pol\u00edtica, mais de 12 mil ficheiros, a c\u00fapula enciclop\u00e9dica de um repert\u00f3rio portugu\u00eas de Ci\u00eancia Pol\u00edtica.
