The Political Observatory participated in the XXXV Annual Conference of the Association of Contemporary Iberian Studies (ACIS), held in Lisbon from September 9 to 11, 2013 at the Catholic University of Portugal.<\/p>\n
ACIS – Association for Contemporary Iberian Studies was founded in 1978 with the aim of developing the study of social, economic and political issues of the Iberian region and to promote collaboration among scholars who share an interest in the development of contemporary Portugal and Spain. Under this aegis, ACIS focuses its scientific activities on the analysis of the Portuguese and Spanish territories and their international relations over the last 100 years, and on the study of minority languages spoken in the Iberian Peninsula.<\/p>\n
