The III Colloquium: The Azores of Europe and the Atlantic will take place on December 5th and 6th. This event is organized by the Political Observatory (OP), the Center for Humanistic Studies (CEHu), the University of the Azores (UAc), and American Corners Portugal, and sponsored by the Horta City Council. This two-day initiative is open to the general public and aims to examine the issues associated with the centrality of the sea in the historical, scientific, and cultural experience of the Azores. Under this theme, two panels will be presented: \u201cSea at the Center: Science and Diversity\u201d and \u201cIn the Center of the Sea: People and Territories\u201d.<\/p>\n
