XXXIV Annual Conference of the Association for Contemporary Iberian Studies (ACIS)

The XXXIV Annual Conference of the Association for Contemporary Iberian Studies (ACIS) took place in London, September 4-6, 2012, at King’s College London, organized by ACIS – Association for Contemporary Iberian Studies, in partnership with King’s College London and the University of Westminster.

ACIS – Association for Contemporary Iberian Studies was founded in 1978 with the aim of developing the study of social, economic and political issues of the Iberian region and to promote collaboration among scholars who share an interest in the development of contemporary Portugal and Spain. Under this aegis, ACIS focuses its scientific activities on the analysis of the Portuguese and Spanish territories and their international relations over the last 100 years, and on the study of minority languages spoken in the Iberian Peninsula.

The Political Observatory was present in two panels, with the participation of two Ph.D. researchers and nine associated researchers.
